Ask for an individual written quotation and confirmation of the procedure, anaesthesia and follow-up scope. Accommodation and airport/hotel/clinic transfers should be agreed explicitly; they are not automatically included.

What is recovery like?

When do results become apparent?
Early swelling can obscure contour. The appearance develops as tissues settle, and your clinician explains when to assess the result. Individual outcomes vary.
What are the risks and limits to discuss?
Surgery carries risks including bleeding, infection, anaesthesia-related problems, prolonged swelling, asymmetry and results that differ from expectations. The relevant risks and limits depend on the procedure, your anatomy and your medical history. Ask the treating clinician to explain these before deciding; no particular appearance can be guaranteed.
