Hakan Özocak: ask for rhinoplasty-specific evidence

Read Hakan Özocak’s rhinoplasty information separately from his wider facial and body surgery portfolio, with questions about relevant examples and facilities.

Hakan Özocak’s public practice material lists rhinoplasty alongside other facial and body procedures. If nose surgery is your question, ask for evidence and a plan specific to that procedure rather than treating the breadth of the portfolio as proof of an individual result. The sources reviewed did not verify a public official WhatsApp patient-group invitation.

Establish the specialty and location

The Turkish plastic-surgery society lists Hakan Özocak’s practice in Üsküdar, Istanbul. His biography records plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery training at Erciyes University and later private practice. He is not being described here as an ENT surgeon. The independent Hakan Özocak profile separates past education, present practice and unanswered facility questions.

Ask for evidence about the nose, not the whole portfolio

Özocak’s site lists rhinoplasty alongside facial and body procedures. The fact that a surgeon offers several operations tells you little about how your nasal airway, tip support or previous surgery would be assessed. Ask the practice to explain its rhinoplasty consultation process, the proposed technique and the follow-up relevant to your case. Do not carry a recovery claim from a facelift or breast operation over to nose surgery.

If the practice offers consented examples, ask whether they concern primary or revision rhinoplasty, which starting concerns are comparable, when follow-up images were taken and what the examples omit. A selected gallery is not a representative outcome study. The point is to understand a proposed plan and its limits, not to match your nose to another person’s photograph.

Put examples in context

If the practice shows consented nose-surgery examples, ask what starting concerns they illustrate, when follow-up images were taken and what they cannot predict for your anatomy. Do not download patient images or ask group members to send private records. Similar-looking photographs do not replace an examination or a discussion of limitations.

Separate any additional procedure

The practice’s broad portfolio does not imply you need another operation. If any extra procedure is proposed, ask what separate goal it serves, what alternatives exist and how risk, cost and recovery would change. This is a general informed-consent question, not an allegation about the practice.

Distinguish address from surgical facility

The published Akasya-area address identifies a consultation practice in Üsküdar. Ask for the actual operating hospital, anaesthesia team, early reviews and care after you return home. A group anecdote or a clinic address cannot establish these arrangements for your case.

If someone cites a patient group

No official public invitation was verified; an appointment button is not a group invitation. Ask who runs any claimed group and whether referral incentives exist. In an ordinary WhatsApp group, members may see your number; do not share personal records or photographs there.

Common questions. Does his facelift work establish a rhinoplasty result for me? No. Is the Üsküdar practice the operating hospital? The sources identify a consultation address. Does the public site establish a closed-only or ultrasonic-only method? No. Has this guide verified an official group? No.
