Education and professional background

  1. Hacettepe · Dokuz Eylül

    Medical and ENT training

His official biography lists medical education at Hacettepe University and ENT specialist training at Dokuz Eylül University. Conflicting medical-graduation dates are omitted; specialist training is not labelled a research doctorate.

  2. 2014 · 2016–2017

    Professional-society records

The Turkish ENT society includes him in its 2014 qualification announcement and its facial-plastic school graduate list for 2016–2017. These are historical qualification records, not a current licence or revalidation check.

  3. 2019 · İzmir

    Private-practice context

His official site describes private practice in İzmir since 2019 and gives a Konak address. Confirm current consultation and hospital arrangements directly before travel.

02

What does the practice focus on?

01

3D planning has explicit limits

The dedicated 3D page requires standardized photographs taken in person. It describes simulation as a communication and planning aid that cannot exactly predict the final result. Ask what healing and tissue behaviour the model cannot represent.

02

Shape, septum and turbinates

His site lists ultrasonic rhinoplasty, revision surgery, tip surgery, septal-deviation and turbinate procedures. These are different areas of a possible plan; the list does not mean every patient needs each procedure.

03

International arrangements to confirm

English, German and French site editions provide international access. The English site describes online preliminary discussion, transfer, accommodation and interpreter support. Confirm the actual language support and each inclusion in your own written agreement.

What Vectra can contribute to a discussion

The dedicated Vectra page describes standardized photographs taken in person for 3D planning. Use that specific description rather than assuming a home-photo preview is equivalent. Simulation helps discuss proposed shape changes; it does not predict healing, establish breathing function or guarantee a result.

Separate bone technique from functional treatment

The practice lists ultrasonic rhinoplasty, revision, tip surgery, septal and turbinate work. Ask which of those actually belong in your assessment and why. The ENT society’s 2014 qualification record adds professional context, but neither a service list nor a qualification determines an individual treatment plan.

Online assessment and travel assistance

The site describes a preliminary online assessment and possible transfer, hotel and interpreter assistance. These are published options, not confirmed inclusions in a personal package. The Konak consultation practice in İzmir should be distinguished from the hospital named in your eventual operation plan.

Understanding nasal surgery

Different goals. One carefully considered plan.

A useful consultation separates what you would like to change from what an examination can establish. The guide below explains the vocabulary used in nasal surgery. It is general education, not a description of this doctor’s personal technique or a recommendation for your case.

Three questions for an individual assessment
01

Form

What would you like to change about your nose within the proportions of your face?

02

Breathing

Which symptoms need an internal examination and discussion of possible causes?

03

History

How do previous treatment, health and expectations inform the discussion?

Conceptual planning diagram, not a diagnostic image or a prediction of surgical results.

Read the procedure, recovery and risk guide
01

Rhinoplasty: the external shape

Rhinoplasty changes the shape or size of the nose. Open and closed describe access through different incision patterns; these words alone do not tell you what structural work is planned. Ask your surgeon to explain the proposed changes, their limitations and why that access suits your anatomy.

NHS · Nose reshaping (rhinoplasty)

02

Septoplasty: the internal partition

The septum divides the two nasal passages. A deviation can contribute to obstruction, but an off-centre septum does not always cause symptoms. Assessment considers other contributors, including the turbinates and nasal valves. Septoplasty addresses the septum; a combined septorhinoplasty also addresses the external nose.

03

Revision: understand the earlier operation

If you have already had surgery, make that clear at the outset and bring any available operative records. A useful consultation should distinguish the concern you see today from the correction being proposed. Ask what can realistically change, what may remain and whether further surgery is appropriate at all.

ASPS · Rhinoplasty consultation; editorial consultation prompts

Arrive with a history, leave with clear questions.

Prepare your medical conditions, allergies, current medicines and supplements, smoking or alcohol history and previous procedures. Describe both appearance and breathing concerns. The consultation should include examination, available options and an explanation of risks. Do not change prescribed medicines yourself; ask the treating team for individual instructions.

ASPS · Rhinoplasty consultation

Recovery is a sequence, not a reveal.

This visual is an orientation to follow-up, not a fixed timetable. The treating surgeon determines your care and review schedule.

  1. 01

    Initial care

Splints or dressings may protect the nose. Obtain written instructions on care, medicines and the next review.

  2. 02

    Early review

Ask who removes dressings or sutures, when you can resume activities and whom to contact with concerns.

  3. 03

    Ongoing healing

Swelling changes over time; refinement can take up to a year. An early photograph is not the final assessment.

  4. 04

    Continued follow-up

Confirm how reviews continue after you return home and how persistent concerns will be assessed.

ASPS · Rhinoplasty recovery

Discuss the trade-offs before deciding.

Possible risks include breathing difficulty, infection, altered sensation, scarring, septal perforation, dissatisfaction with appearance and further surgery. Anaesthesia has its own risks. Ask which are relevant to your health and proposed operation, how complications would be managed and what alternatives are available.

A preliminary consultation is not the surgical fee

No personal surgical amount was verified. An offer of a preliminary consultation does not establish the cost of surgery. Request an itemised quote naming the hospital, anaesthesia, any septal or turbinate work, reviews and the separate cost of travel assistance.

Questions before contacting the practice

Where is the doctor based?

İzmir, Türkiye

What is the doctor’s specialty?

ENT specialist

Can a remote photo replace in-person 3D photography?

The dedicated page specifies standardized in-person photography. Ask when this happens and which aspects of healing cannot be simulated. A model is a discussion aid, not a promised result.

How are functional concerns assessed?

Ask which findings concern bone, cartilage support, the septum or turbinates rather than tip shape alone. The procedure list does not identify the cause of your breathing symptoms.

What should my travel and care agreement include?

Ask how long examination and early reviews require, who clears you to travel, and which transfer, hotel, interpretation and aftercare services are included in the dated quote. Published support is not an automatic package.

Can I book this doctor through Rhinoplasty Team Turkey?

No. This is an independent information page. Rhinoplasty Team Turkey does not arrange consultations or treatment with this doctor.
