Independent doctor profile
Shape, congestion and sleep are different questions
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suat Bilici is listed by Acıbadem Atakent in Istanbul as an ENT and head-and-neck surgeon. Its international physician page names septoplasty, septorhinoplasty and rhinoplasty alongside snoring, voice and hearing work. A change in nasal shape is not, by itself, an assessment of every breathing or sleep concern.

Reading the polyp publication
Evidence reviewed:
Polyp research cannot diagnose your obstruction
A 2019 study with Bilici as first author addresses nasal-polyp biology. His hospital also lists septoplasty, septorhinoplasty and rhinoplasty. The study does not show which, if any, operation would address one reader’s blocked breathing; examination must distinguish inflammatory disease, septum and other causes.

03
Nasal form alongside broader ENT care
A polyp paper asks a different nasal question
Bilici is first author of a 2019 publication on procalcitonin and nasal-polyps pathogenesis. This investigates inflammatory disease, not rhinoplasty outcomes. A person with congestion and an external shape concern should ask whether polyps, sinuses, the septum or another finding explains the symptom before naming an operation.
Do not turn the ENT list into 1 treatment
Septoplasty, septorhinoplasty, treatment of polyps and assessment of snoring address different questions. The hospital list does not identify which combination, if any, suits an individual or where that operation would occur. Ask for the examination findings, a dated plan and a follow-up route before travel.

A training entry is not an outcome measure
Acıbadem lists a 2013 Hamburg rhinoplasty and facial-plastic-surgery training entry. It does not identify a fellowship, German practising licence, current technique or German patient numbers. Check the proposed operation and facility rather than treating a training location as a recommendation.
