Kemal and colleagues studied 55 people before septorhinoplasty and at 6 months, using the Rhinoplasty Outcome Evaluation plus separate visual scales for obstruction and appearance. The study examined associations within one cohort. It does not supply a personal satisfaction rate, a comparison with another surgeon or proof that the same plan suits a new patient.

When graft behaviour matters
Outcome measures need context
A questionnaire score depends on the population, follow-up point and questions asked. Ask which symptoms and visible concerns are likely to change, which may remain, and how the team distinguishes temporary healing from a persistent functional problem. A 6-month research visit is not automatically the follow-up plan for an international patient.
Cartilage research raises a revision question
Kemal was first author of a 2020 paper comparing costal-cartilage carving methods and warping. Its indexed record includes experimental and cadaver-related terms and provides no abstract.
